Corrections & Retractions
We take accuracy seriously. When we get something wrong, we say so publicly.
Correction Types
- Update Note
- Added when new information emerges after publication that changes context but does not alter the core findings. The original content remains intact.
- Visible Correction
- Applied when a factual error is identified. The correction is displayed prominently on the affected page with a clear description of what changed and why.
- Retraction
- Issued when a published piece is materially wrong to the extent that the core premise cannot be sustained. The original is preserved for audit purposes but clearly marked as retracted.
